Can you really “play longer” with the Durex Play Longer Desensitizing Lubricant? That is the question.

You can buy this lubricant online for as low as 6 bucks (USD). You can also find it on eBay for $10 or so. For anyone who doesn’t live in the US, they have international shipping available.

I just tried using this lube a few weeks ago to masturbate, and let me just say, it has its good and bad points.

First of all, I don’t think you can really call this a “lube”, or even use it for the purpose that lubricant is intended – to lubricate. How on earth did Durex think we could use this crap as lube? They should’ve just called it “desensitizing gel” or something. Anyways, it’s really sticky compared to normal lube, eg. KY Jelly. Also, compared to normal lube, the “slipperyness” doesn’t last as long. This one dries up quickly, so you have to keep reapplying, and that sucks because the tube is pretty darn small, so you can’t really waste it.

The good thing is it DOES indeed help you last longer. It helped me masturbate for a minute or so longer. It takes a little while to take effect, maybe 10 minutes. Could be 5 minutes for you. It’s not as good as a desensitizing spray in terms of lasting longer, but it does help. I guess you can’t really complain, this special lube is well within most people’s budget.

The only thing I can really stress is that, you may be disappointed with how the lube feels, and especially when it’s on your dick. It’s hard to describe, but you’ll see what I mean when you try it. It’s kind of like licking a lollypop and then rubbing that lollypop all over your dick – that’s pretty much what your dick will feel like.

Overall, it’s an ok product.
