Kegel Exercises for Premature Ejaculation
One of the most frustrating things about premature ejaculation is the feeling of helplessness. Wouldn’t it be a relief to discover that there was something you could do – an exercise you perform that would not only help you control your premature ejaculation but actually increase the strength and size of your erections?
Behold Kegel exercises – so named after Dr. Arthur Kegel, the gynecologist who pioneered the practice in the 1940′s – and they may the relief you which you have been looking.
Whoa, wait a minute! Did you just say gynecologist? Yes, that’s right: the Kegel exercises were developed to aid women in the strengthening of their pelvic muscles. However, it was discovered later that men could also benefit from the exercises, reducing instances of premature ejaculation, strengthening erections, and even increasing the force of ejaculations.
The exercises target the pubococcygeal muscle – it is a lot easier if you just refer to it as the PC muscle – which stretches from your pubic bone (the bone at the front of your pelvis) to the coccyx (your tail bone). This muscle is like a little hammock that forms the bottom of your pelvic cavity which holds up all of the organs in your pelvis.
These exercises do not require a gym membership or any equipment. All you need is yourself and a little practice. Interested yet? I thought so – let’s get started.
Finding the PC muscle is not as tricky as you might think. Have you ever been urinating and had to cut off the stream before you were done? It was your PC muscle you used to clench down and stop the flow. The next time you go to the bathroom, try to start and stop your urine flow and pay attention to how it feels – you’re going to want to repeat this a lot, and not just when you are standing in front of the toilet. Be sure you are just flexing your PC muscle and not other muscle groups such as your abdominal or thighs.
Toning your PC muscle with Kegel exercises is as easy as clenching and releasing. There are two basic moves you should work on. First do a set of clenches and releases, perhaps for ten seconds. Next try to clench and hold for ten seconds before letting go. Both of these may be challenging at first but you will be able to build up to longer and more repeated sets.
The best thing about exercising your PC muscle is that you can do it anytime and anywhere. You can perform Kegal exercises while seated at your desk, watching television, riding in an elevator, or in just about any other location. Keep it up and eventually you will begin to take notice of the difference.
There you have it. Kegel exercises work your pubococcygeal muscle and can generally aid your sexual function. By strengthening your PC muscle you can reduce your premature ejaculation, increase the size and strength of your erections, and improve the force of your ejaculation.
